Hi,
If I create a new launch configuration called mylaunch.launch, how does eclipse / myeclipse decide where to put this file on my filesystem. I notice there is an eclipse directory and it is putting some .lauch files here, but not all. Why?
And. more importantly, how do I control where these .launch files are put?
Sounds a simple question, but I have searched the help and google and can’t find anything.

That’s a great question. I honestly don’t know the answer off the top of my head, but launch configuration will be associated with a particular workspace so they’ll likely be saved under <workspace>/.metatdata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.runtime/.settings

For a perfectly correct answer you might want to ask on the eclipse.platform newsgroup on the Eclipse website. Just ask where JDT launch configurations are saved. Ours are saved by the same mechanism and will be in the same location.
