Hi,

I encountered a problem running myeclipse 4.1.1 GA installation on windows XP Professional.
I get the following error:

Could not create Java VM.
LaunchAnywhere Error.

🙁

This’s my system information about JAVA version below.
java version “1.5.0_06”
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_06-b05)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_06-b05, mixed mode, sharing)

Could you tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?

Vincent,try downloading the manual installer and see if that works for you. Also did you install that JDK using suns installer or did you copy it from elsewhere? If you have simply copied it make sure that your java home path is set correctly.
