When I launch Tomcat by pressing the “Run” or “Debug” button on the “Servers” tab, the console tab is not displayed. The console tab can be manually selected and the output from the server is present – it is working OK.

Its a relatively minor issue, but quite irritating – the console tab used to display automatically when the server was launched.

I cannot find a setting that controls this – any ideas?

Adam,
On the top right hand corner of the console window there is an option that says “Show Console when standard out changes”. You need to enable it by clicking on it.
