I would like to install myeclipse to vmware, in 2 instances. Each vm keeps environment for specific project. e.g. liferay portal 5.0.1 is in one vm and 5.1.0 is in another.

How about licencing. Shall I have activation problems, etc ???

This is fine, as long as you only use 1 instance at a time.
