Currently I have myeclise 6.1 installed and I have license for Professional edition.Do I need a seperate license if I want to upgrade to MyEclise 7.0
Do I need to uninstall previous installation before I can use the same license with new installation? (Earlier I have installed myeclipse 6.1 using installer, but now I have used pulse to install 7.1)regards

You can use the same license to upgrade to ME 7.0. You don’t need to un-install previous installation of ME 6.1 to upgrade to ME 7.1.1. One thing to note is that the base eclipse has changed from ME 6.x to ME 7.1.1, If I am not wrong ME 6.x is based on Eclipse 3.3 Europa whereas ME 7.1.1 is based on Eclipse 3.4.1 Ganymede. You will need to have a fresh install of ME 7.1.1. You can go ahead and use pulse to install ME 7.1.1.
