I’m going through part 2 of the HelloWorld tutorial. I am unable to set any JSP breakpoint by double-clicking on the left margin of the JSP editor page or by any other means. Nothing happens. Any help?
ME: 2.5.0 build: 200307151200
Eclipse: 3.0.0 build: 200406192000
Tomcat: 5.0.18May I propose that you upgrade you ME install to the latest version, MyEclipse 3.8beta-1. ME 2.5.0 is pretty old and there have been many changes since that release.

In fact the Windows -> Preferences -> MyEclipse screen states that the version is 2.5.0. However, the Help -> Software Updates -> Manage Configuration shows a MyEclipse workbench version 3.7.101. So I really don’t know which version is installed.
As recommended I have installed the 3.8beta-1 version of ME. The same screens show the same version numbers, 2.5.0 and 3.7.101. And I still cannot set breakpoints.

right click on your JSP file, and choose “Open With” then “MyEclipse JSP Editor”, its likey that you are trying to open the JSP file with another plugin, like Lomboz@support-rkalla wrote:
