Sorry about the newbie questions as I am quite new. Is there a way the maintain the navbar (with “back” and the other button) when one clicks on a button to open a website?

    Thank you

It sounds like your UI design is to embed content from another site into your mobile web UI. Right?

If you create a native app your best option is to use a GotoURL action with a popup window. This will float a dialog above your app’s UI with the remote site content.

If you create a mobile webapp this is not possible due to technical limitations on the device. See this thread:

Note if you are developing an app but testing it using the Run in Test Center or Publish as Web App action then note that the popup window is not available due to technical limitations of the Test Center to support multiple embedded browsers.
