How can I make the myeclipse web project wizard leave the web root at the top level of the web module? It keeps giving me errors when I try to use “.” (tried “/” too – it must have something in the webroot box). It insists on wanting to place the web app root down one level in the directory structure (in the “WebRoot” folder by default). I would like to have the webroot be at the top level in the web app module so I can use the weblogic specific compilation Ant tasks in order to validate our entire EAR structure BEFORE actually deploying it to the server. Any help would be appreciated!

This is a feature that is not currently supported but has been asked for more in the last 2 weeks than almost any other feature, so we’ve upped the priority of it for our next release to “Satan”. I have not heard an official statement from management yet on this feature, but it will be in ME soon enough. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
