    Hi,

In my EJB module (‘Logic’) I have an xdoclet-build.xml.
I am currently porting my app from M3 to M7 so instead of resetting the xdoclet stuff all over again from scratch, I tried to edit it manually by copying the relavent parts from my 3.0M3 workspace xdoclet-build.xml.

Now, double clicking the xml file in the 3.0M7 shows the file with the right content but then going into Logic\properties\xdoclet-build shows all the settings as if nothing was set.

What is going on? Can’t this file be edited manually?

    Thanks in advance,

    Erez

Can you load up Windows>Preferences>MyEclipse>XDoclet and click “Refresh XDoclet Modules” and then go down one level to Code Assist, and do the same? I’m hoping this will invalidate a cache somewhere and cause it to get rebuild.

If that doesn’t work, try refreshing your project, closing it, closing Eclipse, then restarting Eclipse and opening your project. Did that work?

I already done the setting using the GUI so I will never know – too lazy to do it again 🙂 Just for the sake of knowledge and for the next time: the xdoclet-build.xml is just a file and can be edited from an external editor and then refresh on the project should refresh it too, right?

Anyway, now I know what to do next time I get stuck.

Glad to hear its working, and yes I imagine a refresh would take care of it.
