I built eclipse (3.0M7) on linux (gtk) and it compiled fine and i can run it with no issues. I manually installed myeclipse and when i start eclipse this is what i get:
Could not create action delegate for id: org.eclipse.ui.externaltools.ExternalToolMenuDelegateMenu
Reason:
Plug-in org.eclipse.ui.externaltools was unable to load class org.eclipse.ui.externaltools.internal.menu.ExternalToolMenuDelegate.

Are you sure you didn’t build M8 instead of M7? MyEclipse 3.7.1 won’t work with M8, but version 3.7.2 will be available shortly.
Internally we saw something similar to this while testing 3.7.2 on M8. Restarting a second time ‘fixed’ the issue.
