    Hi,

how can I manually uninstall MyEclipse 3.8.4 on Windows? I did the manual installation and now I don’t know how to remove the configuration from configuration manager and all myEclipse configuration entries scattered on my HD.

    Thanks, Jan

    Jan,
    It is a 2-step process.

    1) Unload MyEclipse from Eclipse. Help > Software Updates > Mange Configuration > Right click on MyEclipse > “Disable” hit NO to restart, close Eclipse.
    2) GO ahead and erase your MyEclipse folder
    3) Add -clean to the command line to start Eclipse back up, do this atleast once to let it rebuild it’s plugin cache. this step is optional, just to keep things clean.

    Thanks Riyad,

it would be nice to add this to manual-install.html.

    Jan,
It is there already, at the bottom of the file under the section titled “Manual Uninstall Process”.
