Hi Just after some advice on a problem I am having with the Matisse Pallet. I’m very new to this so please forgive me if this is a basic problem!

The problem revolves around the Matisse pallet being empty every time I close MyEclipse down then re-open it the next day. I’ve been advised by friends that this isn’t correct. I’ve also been advised by friends to try closing the perspective down and re-open it, which has worked on occasions!

One friend also told me to try the following in dos:

    C:\Program Files\eclipse-3_2_2

    eclipse.exe -clean

This apparently is to clean the config settings. This again has worked on occasions, but not always.

Just wondering if anyone out there knows of a permanent way I can resolve this problem? As once I get the palette to display its contents all works fine!

Thanks for any help with this.

Add the -clean command to your eclipse.ini file.

Let me know if this solves your problem.

    Hi Nipun,

Thanks for your help, I’ve done as you advised, but still seem to have the same problems. Can you suggest anything else that might help?

    Thanks again

Hmmm. Can you switch to a brand new workspace and try starting MyEclipse. Does that solve the problem ?

If this doesn’t help, then you should download the MyEclipse Full Stack installer and use that to setup MyEclipse to a brand new location.
