Hello,
I have been advised to check here before installing any Eclipse plugin other than MyEclipse. And so, I am following that advice. I am using Eclipse 3.1.1 and MyEclipse 4.0.3. I would like to install the maven plugin from http://m2eclipse.codehaus.org and the subversion plugin from http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.0.x. Do you guys think that this will be okay?

At least the subclipse plugin works without any problems with MyEclipse (I think the 1.0.x update site is not available anymore. The 1.0.x release is available on the normal update site at: http://subclipse.tigris.org/update).
Since i don’t use maven, i don’t have this plugin.We haven’t heard of any incompatibilities with these plugins. Typically, small, focused plugins don’t cause any interactivity issues. The problems arise when you try to install mutiple IDE’s into one instance. But, choosing MyEclipse as the IDE then augmenting it with small plugins that provide point solutions generally won’t be problematic.
