Hi, every time i start ME I have to go and specify my preferences again, they are just gone. For example I am using the subclipse plugin (installed via pulse), and I have to go and specify my svn ignore patterns everytime I restart ME.

Also happens to my server configurations etc.

I would also like to know when the WYSIWYG html editor will be available for linux users. (by the way, that annoying warning that pops up every time I open an html file also doesn’t remember not to come up again next time)

    I’m running Ubuntu 7.10

Can you switch to a new workspace, work there for a while and check if the preferences get saved ?

HI, tried to switch do a different workspace, but get the following error. “Unable to relaunch the platform because the eclipse.vm property has not been set.”

Also after inspecting the WorkSpaces folder in my user directory, I found that it contains a MyEclipse folder (with nothing in it) and a folder called “null”.
    This is indeed very strange.

Anybody from support gonna try and help me please! This is a showstopper for me if I have to setup my workbench everytime I boot up.

The error message indicates you started MyEclipse from Pulse and try to switch Workspace from there. Switching workspaces from inside MyEclipse started from Pulse isn’t supported yet (see the Pulse support forum). You should open a new Workspace from the start of MyEclipse and try again.

Incase you don’t get the prompt to select the workspace at startup, you can go to Windows > Prefs > General > Startup and Shutdown and check “Prompt for workspace on startup”.
