Randy BurgessMemberStarting with Eclipse classic 3.5.1 I get errors using the update site. I removed Matisse and Mylyn integration and no joy. Here are the errors.

Loyal WaterMemberMyEclipse 8.0M1 is compatible only with 3.5.0 — our M2 release will be based on 3.5.1. Please try setting up ME with Eclipse 3.5.0 and let me know if you run into any issues.

Randy BurgessMemberDoes it matter if it’s 64-bit or 32-bit?
Thanks,

Loyal WaterMemberOfficially we support the 32 bit OS. Your on 32 or 64 bit?

Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6 are 64-bit OS’s and I’m on 10.6. 10.4 was 64-bit on the command line but the GUI was still 32-bit. There are Cocoa based Eclipse 3.5 downloads in either 32 or 64-bit and the Carbon based Eclipse is 32-bit. I installed it on the Cocoa based 64-bit Galileo last night and it installed fine. I haven’t had a chance to see if there are any issues.
Thanks,

Loyal WaterMemberWe don’t test on the Cocoa bundles yet, and while it should work OK, if you run into problems the official supported platform for Mac is Carbon 32-bit — but you shouldn’t need to worry about that unless you run into a snag.
