    Hi,

Are there any limitation on where the META-INF directory should be in an EJB module? The default wizard created it under the src/META-INF, but since I am working with a linked-resource src directory I have to create it on my own. So the question is where?

    Thanks,

    Erez

I tried putting a META-INF directly under the Logic (my EJB project name) and refreshing the MyEclipse nothing shows there.

Since I have a running application under Myeclipse 3.6.2, I used the same layout:

    Logic (=my EJB Module name)
    — metadir
    — META-INF

The ejb-jar.xml is there but I get a warning saying:
“Missing ejb-jar.xml deployment descriptor in META-INF folder”

Try adding META-INF under your linked source folder. Do this should work for you.

The linked source folder is shared by my web module, wouldn’t that be a trouble?

I’m not sure I fully understand how you’re project is organized and how using linked resources help/hurt the situation. I need a better picture of exactly how you wish to organize your project. If you post a layout of your projects and their inter-relations I might be able to provide better assistance.
