I have suddenly started getting an error message when running an app in the Chrome test environment under mobione V2.5

    It states

GET file:///C:/Users/##laptop name ##/AppData/Local/MobiOne%20Studio/git/com.blackberry.ripple-ui/thirdparty/jquery.js has failed

It seems we do not have the git subdirectory in the local file

I have also had an error message for ripple.js

I have reinstalled 2.5 to see if it reintates the files, but to no avail

Any Ideas what I can do to reinstate the scripts

    Thanks for sharing. Investigating.

    Hi billPeach,

Could you please give us more information about that? Web Sim never attempts to load jQuery for itself through separate web request, so I assume you get this error message when trying to open your design. It would be great if you can share this design with us or at least give us steps how to create the design that reproduces problem on our side.

    Hi billPeach,

I’ve just come to one idea.
Could you please open “Web Tools” in WebSim, then press on “Settings” and disable “Enable JS source maps” checkbox?
Let me know if that fixes the problem.

    Regards,

All seems fine in design, but when I move to the web sim (ver 0.2.0) I do not get the error initially, but if I refresh the app after inspecting elemts to set a break point then the error appears. IE it calls Jquery.js at that point from

    GET file:///C:/Users/##laptop name ##/AppData/Local/MobiOne%20Studio/git/com.blackberry.ripple-ui/thirdparty/jquery.js

The subdir git does not exist!

Also following your other comment, I cannot find a ‘web tools’ option in the sim or indeed any option to enable JS source maps

In the Chrome Dev Tools under Settings>General disable the Java Source Maps as shown below.

I have changed the setting as you suggest, all it does is change the error message from

GET file:///C:/Users/##laptop name ##/AppData/Local/MobiOne%20Studio/git/com.blackberry.ripple-ui/thirdparty/jquery.js has failed

    To

failed to load resource file:///C:/Users/##laptop name ##/AppData/Local/MobiOne%20Studio/git/com.blackberry.ripple-ui/thirdparty/jquery.js
