seems to work fine except there’s a black band at the top and bottom.

is there something i can change in the generated files so that it takes up the full
    screen.

    thanks.

    1) Are you testing directly on an iphone5 device or in emulator?

    2) Is the problem with a webapp or native app?

2a) if it is with a webapp is the webapp being launched from the home screen?

i’m trying this on the mobi v1.5 – so no emulator.

this result i see is on the device itself.

    why don’t i upgrade to mobi v2+…i understand mobi v2 is a
major upgrade and don’t want my app to be broken.

i suppose i will upgrade though.

iphone5 scheduled for delivery today (friday). Will be testing MobiOne 2.1 and upcoming 2.2 asap. Will provide feedback as we learn more about how mobione apps work on iphone5.

so looks like no testing with mobi v1.5.

i’ve got a complex webapp and it’s working under mobi 1.5.

will i see any problems upgrading to v2.2

-i.e. will all the webapp functionality be the same.

i had to modify phoneui.js slightly – has that file changed much
    in since v1.5.

    thanks.

There have been changes in 2.X to both phoneui.js and the code generation model, e.g., lists now have more styling options and I believe there was another change in the panel ht model that was tweaked. So yes, your app may need some tweaking for MobiOne 2.

I don’t recommend that you upgrade to MobiOne 2 just yet until we have tested its apps on iphone5. Just unpacking my iphone5 as I write this.

Note, we strongly dislike that the widget implementations are not encapsulated behind an javascript api which exposes you to compatibility concerns when upgrading customized apps. This inconvenience is strongly on our minds and we are actively discussing it now.

in the next release (v2.3) – can you make it co-exist with
    pre v2 version of mobi.

they don’t need to be able to share the same source but
having both on a single computer would be great!

    Hi everest,

I’ve opened a feature request to support multiple product version installations.
