It appears that mobile adhoc installs now fail on ios 7.1 unless you host the installer using https protocol.

All my mobile installs are now failing with this dialog box “Cannot install applications because the certificate for mtac.genuitec.com is not valid”. Similar messages come up if you host the files yourself.

    For some background see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20276907/enterprise-app-deployment-doesnt-work-on-ios-7-1

Is it possible to update the mobile app builds to use https ? If not I will have to go back to manual adhoc installs…

As per Octavio on the subject: “The MobiOne App Center supports this requirement for over the air installations of your apps.”

    Thanks Octavio,

On my self hosted installer, i was able to get it to work making the index page, the plist, the apj and the profile file all https.

Not sure if any of them could be http, but making all https worked for me

Good luck and hope for a quick fix

    Hey Octavio ,

Can you get me some sort of really high level timeline on getting mobile build distribution working again? Like, are we talking days, weeks, or months?

Just so i have some idea if i need to put up an alternate system so I can start work on it if i need to.
