A couple of things regarding the “Application icons and startup” screen in App Builder Wizard.

    1. A few months ago, Apple sent notification that the resolution for iTunes icons is now 1024×1024, up from 512×512. The Mobione screen still prompts for 512×512.

    2. I had assumed that 2.2 would allow for iPhone 5 screen size startup images. Is this coming soon?

Thank you for continuing to support your excellent product!

I recall the notice for increased itunes icon size and quality but I don’t recall it being a hard requirement “yet”. Checking with dev team. See this artwork requirements doc that recommends 1024×1024 but 512×512 is a hard requirement:
    http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/userexperience/conceptual/mobilehig/IconsImages/IconsImages.html
I’ll follow up as I get more details from the dev team.

The iOS build wizard accepts the iphone 5 (1136×640). And the webclip startup image is supported as 568×320. Is there something else you are looking for?

Oh, sorry. I develop on a cheap netbook with a small screen. I don’t see the “iphone5(640×1136)” unless I maximize the window. Looks like there’s another field under that one…?

    follow up comment:

Correction, we are mixing up concerns between the ad hoc distribution iTunes icon and the iTunes AppStore artwork. Apple’s recent communications was regarding new requirements for larger high quality appstore artwork which is not part of the build process and instead is submitted through iTunes Connect.
