MobiOne Studio 2.2 is available for installation
I would “highly” recommend everyone upgrades to this asap as Apple rejected one of my apps today based on incompatibility with iPhone 5. The app looks and works beautifully on iPhone 3 & 4.
Of biggest concern is if you have any screens that transition to the right, it currently doesn’t work in iPhone 5 and will be rejected as the button is rendered inactive. A bug in the phone?
Also, the layout is quite different and what looks great on 4 might look quite bad on 5. Takes me back to IE vs Netscape days. If doing a single build you will have lots of vacant space in 5, similar to Android. My app has 400+ screens so doing a build for iPhone 4 & 5 & Android is currently not an option.
On the wishlist for a future Mobione build would be the ability to batch change. Take every screen that transitions to the right and make it transition to the left with the click of a button would be nice.
Great effort to the team to get this update out so quick.
