    Hi,

I’m new to app development so I wanted to know if I could build my iOS app on MobiOne and then move it to my Mac, open it in Xcode, and edit it some more.

I want to know if this is possible before I purchase MobiOne and an Apple Dev License.

    Thanks,
    Nick

Anybody? This may seem like a stupid question, but I’m planning on purchasing MobiOne either today or tomorrow. I just need some small bits of information.

    Thanks.

No and Yes. In a nutshell MobiOne does not support the native programming models of the various mobile platforms, e.g., Objective C/XCode… Read on for the “yes” part.

MobiOne’s cross-platform application model is based on the hyrbid app architecture using the Cordova/PhoneGap OSS framework. The hybrid model is effectively a packaged HTML5 mobile webapp that is run inside the app framework’s embedded web container. The container provides javascript bridge for the webapp to access native services.

You can use Xcode and a cordova project to build your own version of an app. What mobione will provide you in that context is a web ui code-generation and preview. We don’t support this model of development because it has too many wildcards.
