herb200mphParticipantWhen showing MobiOne apps to clients, the splash screen is blue with MobiOne branding.
This makes it a tad awkward when showing apps to clients.
Is there any way to remove or change the splash screen on apps?
Would rather NOT have the client see what platform is being used – might give them ideas to do it themselves, yes?
Anyway, if possible, would like to know how.
If not, will just grumble about it every time a demo app opens.
Question? When the app is compiled on a Mac on our end, is it removed then. We’ve not made that investment yet.

herb200mphParticipantYou may have understood…
The screen we wish to change is the blue screen with the MobiONE graphic and name in the bottom left corner of the screen.
This is the screen that initially appears on development apps when the app is loaded via the Home Screen icon.
We have “splash page” for our apps, but the MobiONE screen preceeds them when the button to open the app is tapped.
Any solutions?
No real crazy about the MobiONE branding in the face of the client for apps we are building for them.
Thanks to any contributors to this question.

Uplink1001MemberHI.
What are you building your apps for ANdroid or iOS???
I am not sure if Android have splash screen??
if your are building for iOS then there should be no problem if you follow the earlier link.
Take a look at the link for a tutorial on youtube. it an older ver of mobione and tutorial
but you should get the jist of it.December 22, 2013 at 2:57 pm #345440
herb200mphParticipantWell, I must be the only person in the world, besides my clients, that see the blue opening screen with the MobiONE branding.
Will take a shot of it as it displays on the iPad and add it to my next posting here.

herb200mphParticipantOK, here is the screen shot of the very first screen I see, and my clients see, when I send them an app for review.
Do you not see that screen?

Paul_paulParticipantHerb, this is the default M1 screen that comes up if you haven’t configured your images correctly when you built the app.

Unknown AuthorParticipantWhen you build the app, the build wizard specifically asks you to include your own spash screen images. If you leave these blank, it will use the default ones. Don’t leave them blank.

herb200mphParticipantFinally – the answer.
Actually, we just blew by those screens – we won’t any more.
Thanks “1thinchip” for the response.
We’ll create a need looking splash screen for each device and then our clients can see “US” rather than – although its a great program to use – MobiONE when they preview the development apps.
Cheers and Happy Holiday Season to all.
