    Hello Team,

my MobiOne Web App doesnt appear in full screen mode, if I call it from my web server.

If I use the AppCenter, the Web App looks fine.

    What can I do?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    Best Regards

In Mobile Safari to hide the bottom button bar is to save the webapp to the iOS homescreen. On the homescreen the webapp can be assigned an app icon and startup image similar to native apps. And when an webapp is launched from the homescreen it will not have the traditional browser button bar (back, forward, menu buttons).

You can put the MobiOne Test Center into strict webapp mode where it will behave exactly like Mobile Safari. But since most users don’t want that premature hassle during design and initial testing we optimized and disable strict webclip mode by default.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi Wayne,

thank you for answer, but it doesn’t solve my problem.

My web app uses only a small part of the browser screen. It doesn’t matter if I start from home screen or not.
It seems, the meta tag ‘apple-mobile-web-app-capable’ doesn’t work.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

    and

    Best Regards

Please post a screenshot of the ui issue and better yet if you can share a design file (.mobi) for the UI that would be helpful.

My 1st thought is that your UI layout is not configured to work on different size screens? This is why the .mobi file would be most helpful.

    Hi Wayne,

here is my test.mobi File with the posted problem.

If I start it from the AppCenter (from Home-Screen) everything is fine.

But if I upload the generated files from the export folder to my web server and then start the web app from my web server, only a very small part of the browser screen is used.

    What have I to do?

Thanks in advance and Best Regards

    Hi Wayne,

yesterday I made a mistake at testing your guidance.

In the AppCenter it looks fine, but on my web server I had the same problem again.

I made a new test.mobi File (see attachment) and when I upload the HTML-Export of MobiOne to my web server I get the following:

    See attachment P1010636.JPG

The Webapp does not appaear as webapp but as a normal HTML-Page.

Is there something wrong with my web server?

    Thanks in advance and

    Best Regards

I had the same problem with my app when I served it using a URL cloak.
The cloak puts a frame around the app. When I accessed the app directly it worked properly.

Try accessing your app without the fame and it may work for you too.
