I don’t understand your question, can you give a little more background? Do you mean how do you modify the URIs for the Struts Taglibs? The URIs are stored in the struts.jar file under the META-INF folder in a tag descriptor.

When I create a JSP page for Struts with the wizard, the URI tags in the new page are like <%@ taglib uri=”http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/tags-html” prefix=”html”%>.
I prefer this : <%@ taglib uri=”/WEB-INF/struts-html.tld” prefix=”html” %>, to use local resources and not on http.

My question is : how modify the template used by the IDE ?

Ahh, I think there is some confusion with how those URIs are used. Taglib URIs are used as unique identifiers, so that URI could actually be “hamsandwich” and as long as the web.xml file OR the taglib descriptor in the JAR file used that identifier as well, it would work.

The fact that Struts uses a URL is just to make it truely unique. If they used something like “html-tags” there are 100s of other frameworks that might use that… its kind of the same reasoning behind sun’s package naming suggestions (use your domain name). Using a URL doesn’t mean any remote resources are validated against or pulled down. If you still want to change this though, you can find the JSP templates in the <myeclipse install directory>\eclipse\plugins\com.genuitec.eclipse.wizards_2.7.1\Templates directory, where you will need to replace “2.7.1” with whatever version of ME you have installed.

Thanks for your answer.
It’s exactly what I wanted.
