    Hi,

I’m trying to download [My]Eclipse updates whilst logged onto my corporate network – however it always fails.

Can anyone let me know what IP address / domains I need to have the network guys allow through the firewall? So far I have guessed…

Can anyone have a full list to hand?

    Thanks!

    Tim,
Are you behind a proxy? Did you set that information up under Window > Prefs > Install / Update > Proxy Information

I’ve got a proxy auto-config (PAC) file – but can’t see how I can use that from within Eclipse…

    Tim,
AFAIK you cannot, can this information not be entered into the area that I mentioned under Window > Preferences? What happens when you enter it, do the features work then?

Dont forget: the MyEclipse update preference has another proxy configuration than the usual Eclipse config dialog. But just search for “proxy” in the preferences dialog and you’ll find it.

Actually, it does not. The update site proxy config is located in one location only at Window > Prefs > Install / Update > Proxy Information as Riyad initially stated. If you’re referring to the proxy settings under MyEclipse > Internet Tools, those are to configure TCP/IP monitoring, not updates
