I have installed Eclipse and MyEclipse on mac and for a month I was using the trial version. Then i bought the subscription for a year and then as mentioned in the email sent, I opened the window – prefence – myeclipse – subscription window and entered the id and the key…. In the text this information appears

Subscriber: m_senthil_ind
Product ID: E2MY (MyEclipse Standard Subscription)
License version: 2.7
Full Maintenance Included
Subscription expiration date (YYYYMMDD): 20061027
Number of licenses: 1

Then everything is cool. I am able to use the MyEclipse plugin. Then when I quit the application and restart it, there is no subscription details and this happens everytime. I have to enter the information everytime I start the application.

Can someone help me persist the subscription information….Am I missing something

Senthil,

Which version of MyEclipseIDE are you using (See MyEclipse > About MyEclipse)? There were some problems in this area with the 4.0 milestones which are quite old now – here is a thread which might help: http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-8525.html

I would suggest downloading 4.0.3 if you’re on an earlier version of MyEclipse to solve this problem normally and pick up a host of other fixes. Or you can pick up our first milestone release of ME 4.1 – the second milestone of ME might be released in a few days, you could wait if you’re okay with M builds.

The version I am using is : 4.0 Milestone 3 (3.9.310)

So I guess I need to upgrade it. Since I am in middle of a struts project I will be doing that during weekend.
