MyEclipse 10 crashes after installing either the feature “Eclipse IDE for Java Developers” or “Eclipse IDE for Javascript Developers”. After installing either feature and then allowing the subsequent restart, MyEclipse 10 will always crash displaying a message box saying “The Eclipse executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library”.

    markso,

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Could you answer below queries to help me investigate further?
    1. How did you add these features? I do not see these listed under MyEclipse Configuration Center > Dashboard tab
    2. In case you have added these using a plugin, please provide plugin update site/plugin download weblink
    3. What is your OS and version? Are you on 32 or 64 bit?

I would recommend you repair your MyEclipse 10 profile. Double click on your MyEclipse 10 installer file, there would be 4 options listed. You could choose to repair the current ME 10 profile or install another copy ME 10. This wizard will guide you through the rest of the steps.

Let me know how this works for you.
