    Good Morning,

    Config Info:
Fresh install of Eclipse 3.0 (200406251208)
Fresh install of MyEclipse 3.8.1 (200408201200-3.8.1)
    Running Windows XP Pro SP1
    No other plug-ins installed
    Java version 1.4.2_03-b02

When I start Eclipse no MyEclipse features are available although it shows up in the Help > About menu. Nothing in new projects, preferences, perspective, etc. The only error I see in the Eclipse log is:
Category com.genuitec.eclipse.views.myEclipseCategory not found for view org.eclipse.monitor.view. This view added to ‘Other’ category.

    Thanks,
    Justin

    Justin,

It sounds like you might have installed MyEclipse on top of the Eclipse Platform or JDT distributions instead of the full SDK. The full SDK is needed to run MyEclipse since it needs both the Platform *and* JDT. Another thing to try is to start Eclipse with the -clean commandline flag which will cause a rebuild of your installed plugin configuration.

    Hi Scott,

That’s the problem. Sorry for the trouble…

    Justin
