My team is experiencing MyEclipse hanging when opening/editing certain JSP pages. The jsp pages use: includes, JSTL, Scriptlet, Javascript, and of course, HTML.
Similar to other threads I have read, MyEclipse (Eclipse) hangs for ~20 minutes. I wasn’t able to find any resolution or exact threads that matched my exact scenario.
Operating System: Windows XP SP1
Eclipse version: 3.0.1
Eclipse build id: 200409161125
MyEclipse version: 3.8.4

Can you give me the exact build number and id from Window > Preferences > MyEclipse? It should be:
Version: 3.8.4+QF2
Build Id: 200502031200-3.8.4+QF2If you don’t have the +QF2 on the ids, you’ll need to install QuickFix #2 for 3.8.4, which is detailed here:
