Hello,
I’m trying to create a silent install of MyEclipse 3.8.4 and just trying to follow the instructions mentioned in the topic located at http://www.myeclipseide.com/FAQ+index-myfaq-yes-id_cat-4.html#120 which tells about creating the necessary file in the Eclipse\links directory of Eclipse installation.
I dont see any links directory in my Eclipse 3.0.2 folder. Any ideas?

This was changed between Eclipse 2.x and Eclipse 3.x, however IIRC Eclipse 3.x will still honor the links folder and file, so try and create it and see if it works. The new mechanism is called “extensions”, they are manged by going into Eclipse and going to Help > Software Updates > Manage Configuration.
