Well, unfortunately there’s not much we can do other than reinstall. You see, while hte Eclipse team was working on various versions of draw2d, gef, etc, to go with Eclipse 3.1, they didn’t change the versions on the milestone builds. As a result, there are a lot of incompatible versions around with the same version number. For MyEclipse to function properly, you really need to download and install the complete set of plugins that we test with, rather than what was available when you installed draw2d and gef independently. The best course of action is to install a new Eclipse 3.1 build and MyEclipse 4.0M3 on top of it (available by 6:30am GMT -5 on 8/15). Sorry for the inconvenience, but it really is the fastest way to a working installation.
For MyEclipse 4.0GA, we’ll be updating our install to include the latest production releases of draw2d, gef, and emf, now that those projects have stabilized and shipped a production release for Eclipse 3.1.
