Hi. I’m having problems starting Resin 2.1 with MyEclipse. I got the following error:
“dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll not found ……”. I read the others posts about this problem and the manual and I add the resin bin directory to the library path of this App Server but with no effect. Any ideas?

    info:
    Resin path: C:\programacion\resin-2.1.14
App Server: Resin 2.1.14 (Run Mode)
    OS: Windows XP SP2
Eclipse: 3.1 with many other external plugins
    MyEclipse: 4.0M2
    JDK: 5.0
    Launch Server JSK: 1.4.2_08
No exceptions in the Eclipse log file

    Where does LIBEAY32.dll live?

Umm … I don’t know. I just did install Resin and configure MyEclipse with:
    http://www.myeclipseide.com/FAQ+index-myfaq-yes-id_cat-25.html

I guess that this error is the same than this:
    http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-5795-highlight-resin.html

But there are no answer to the last post.

The post you were looking for is the 2nd one, it answers the question as well as our FAQ: http://www.myeclipseide.com/FAQ+index-myfaq-yes-id_cat-25.html

The key is to add your Resin Home/bin dir to your Library Path. Please re-read the 2nd post from that thread by Scott.

I read the FAQ and the related posts before post here, and follow its instructions. I ALREADY add the Resin_Home/bin to my Library Path, like i said in my first post. I got the same error, exactly like the people in the 2nd post.

Doh! My appologize, I was on autopilot there. Is Resin installed to a directory that has spaces in it? (C:\Program Files) if so, please try and reinstall it to a dir without space, if that works then try and use that as a workaround until we ship M3 which fixes this issue in all the connectors.

Ey, don’t worry :). Resin path is ‘C:\programacion\resin-2.1.14’, so not spaces :(. Well, anyway I wait to the M3.

Hmm it is still possible this was part of the bug fixes that went into M3, we did have a library path issue with the connectors. Thank you for waiting for M3.
