Andre KappMemberHi
I have installed Eclipse 3.2 clean a couple of times and re-installed MyEclipse a couple of times.(This is a pure Eclipse 3.2 installation with not extra plug-ins/features added except the standard MyEclipse installation).
Looking at the Help – Software tags it show the installation as good with the JSP edit ok.
However – I cannot go the the Perspective and see ANY MyEclipse perspectives.
On the File – New – Other I still can’t add a new JSP file. If I use and existing project with JSP’s I cannot find the JSP editor…..
Any help needed pls.

Riyad KallaMemberAndre,
Click on the MyEclipse menu, then click “About MyEclipse” then click “Installation Summary” and paste the result here for me. Also let me know what build of Eclipse 3.2 are you using (Milestone? Release Candidate? etc)June 1, 2006 at 7:59 am #252928

This is what I can see
When I start the MyEclipse from the Windows Menu option, I see the MyEclipse starting up. It then goes into the normal eclipse display mode..

Riyad KallaMemberAndre,
I erased that huge mess of a post, if you read what I typed I actually asked you for something other than the Configuration Summary.Besides that though, the problem is that you are using a *very* old Milestone release of Eclipse 3.2, you need to be using atleast Eclipse 3.2RC5, which you can download from here:

The config showed the Java release, operating system ,etc…. thought it will help.
I see the latest release is now R6 – will download it and re-install from scratch.

It does, it’s just page after page of noise. The thing I asked for (Installation Summary) is our trimmed down version that gives us the details we usually need. No biggie, but that’s why I erased it, it hurts my eyes to look at that big dump 😉

Andre KappMemberWow – very impressive.
I’ve installed RC6 and then MyEclipse -working like a dream.
The JSP editor is really impressive. This is the best improvement over all the other JSP editors I’v used.
