Just installed 6.0.1GA full pack installer on Windows Vista Business. Tried to get updates especially MyEclpse Reporter but it came back with the following error
Network connection problems encountered during search.
Unable to access “http://downloads.myeclipseide.com/downloads/products/eworkbench/discovery-6.0/”.
Error parsing site stream. [Premature end of file.]

Premature end of file.Can anyone offer some insight on this. It is really driving me nuts.
Found the answer myself. Looks like Vista does not want to play nice. Had to set it to run as administrator and also to run in Windows XP SP 2 compatible mode for it to work.
Hopes this help others.
Latest update. Looks like it is not just a Vista problem. Installed a version on my notebook running Windows XP SP2 and faced the same problem with premature end of file. Looks like downloads.myeclipseide.com is having intermittent connection problems or is over loaded at times.
Sigh… wish I can get some answers from the development team or administrators.

We haven’t had other users report this issue but I’ll get this checked by the network team and get back to you with an update.
