I just upgraded to 6.0 from 5.5. After editing a file (quite a lot of edits, some refactoring, major deleting and new code), I decided to back out all of the edits and start again. So, I hit Ctrl-Z (undo) and held it down until it stopped backing out the changes. The problem was the much of the text was severely mangled. Right in the middle of words, there was random, unrelated text. Unfortunately, I did not save the mangled text. As I am unwilling to try this again anytime soon, it is my hope you can easily recreate this issue. If not, I will attempt this on a test file. Either way, I did want to report this issue.

    Mike,
How did you perform the upgrade from 5.5 to 6.0? Did you install over an existing copy?

There is no direct upgrade path from 5.5 to 6.0, so your install might be corrupt.
