I didn’t get the question. You ran into this error? What were you doing when you ran into this error? Could you give me some more details.

Also please go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

    1- download and install MyEclipse 6.5 all-in-one.
2 – check and install any updates.
3 – Click File, New Plugin Project, HelloWorld, Would you like to create a rich client application: check Yes, pick: RCP application with a view, Finish…
4 – Click the tab: Extension.
    5 – click org.eclipse.ui.views
6 – click Show Extension point description
7 – I get message: Description for extension point “org.eclipse.ui.views” cannot be found

It looks like you emailed us about this issue as well. It is a bug and has been filed for the dev team to evaluate.

The workaround for now is to reinstall manually using Eclipse 3.3 Classic then add MyEclipse to it using the Archived Update Site.
