This issue is getting to be very frustrating. I’ve tried completely removing Eclipse and all of its associated directories, I’ve tried manual installation as well. Whenever I launch eclipse.exe, it comes up for a second and then crashes, leaving a pid file. In the logfile I see this message:

This doesn’t make sense to me as my subscription is in good standing according to my profile. Please help as I’m about to demand my money back for this program since it doesn’t even run.

I can understand your frustration. Looks like MyEclipse is not able to locate your .myeclipse.properties file.

Can you open .myeclipse.properties file in the user home directory. Look for the file here ~\Documents and Settings\[username]\.myeclipse.properties. Please verify the LICENSE_KEY and the LICENSEE details.

If there is no file by that name, can you create it with the format that Joy has provided? This is where MyEclipse stores/retrieves it’s license information from.
