I’m going to this page to find out what’s new with 7.0:
    http://www.myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-370.html#dash

So I choose “MyEclipse” \ “Manage MyEclipse Plug-ins” and instead of the dialog box shown on the help web page, I got a dialog box that says “Dashboard Not Available. The MyEclipse Dashboard is only available from a full version of MyEclipse. Please visit Downloads at MyEclipseIDE.com for an installable copy.” What exactly is an “installable copy”?

I installed Eclipse 3.4.1 from the Eclipse site, and then downloaded/installed the MyEclipse archive and installed it.

    bsavard,

I’m sorry for the confusion. Part of the All in One installer is to lay down a very thin layer of our provisioning software “Pulse”, that the Dashboard runs ontop of. When you do the install of MyEclipse using the archived update site, there isn’t an opportunity to lay down Pulse so the Dashboard cannot function correctly.

A full installable copy just means using the All in One installer as opposed to the update site, where you pretty much manage everything yourself using the basic Eclipse Updater instead of the integrated MyEclipse solution.

What about for a Mac? Is there a “Full Installable Copy” for Mac OSX?

Definitely, on the Downloads page, we have them for Windows, Mac, Linux both 32-bit and 64-bit.
