I downloaded and extracted the myeclipse-7.0-linux.gtk-x86(2).tgz file
but when I double-click on the the installer file (myeclipse-70-installer ), it’s says “An error has occurred, check the logs”.

The logs contain the following:

org.osgi.framework.BundleException: The activator org.eclipse.equinox.internal.simpleconfigurator.Activator for bundle org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator is invalid

!MESSAGE Product com.genuitec.pulse2.client.installer.ui.product could not be found.

java.lang.RuntimeException: No application id has been found.

Does anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks

Can you please make sure the size and the md5sum of the installer you downloaded matches the information mentioned on the download page. This could be the case of a corrupt installer.
