Hi,

I recently update myeclipse to 9.0 but I’m getting many incompatibilities and problems, I want to return to myeclipse 8.6. Where do I find the myeclipse 8.6 installer?

Sorry to hear you are running into issues with ME 9.0. You have not elaborated your issue and your environment details. Please answer below queries to help me investigate –
1. Copy and paste your installation details. Refer – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshooting-how-to-view-the-installation-details/&highlight= How did you install ME? Meaning – using all-in-one installer / pulse / archived update site on top of eclipse classic?
2. What are the incompatibilities issues it lists? Please attach screenshot, refer – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshooting-how-to-upload-attachments-on-forum/&highlight=
3. Please open Window > Show/View > Problems. Right click on an issue and click on [quick-fix]. This would prompt you to change the compatibility to relevant java specification. Click on [Yes]
4. In case the above does not fix your issue, please elaborate the type of project you are working on?
5. List out 3rd party plugins you have added to your profile. Screenshot of Help > MyEclipse Configuration Center > Dashboard tab and Software tab and problems tab(window > show/view > problems) would help me get a visual
6. Clear your .log file located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log, replicate the issue and attach the file
