After adding SVN via the MyEclipse Configuration Center, all my servers are now missing (except Integrated Servers – Tomcat and Derby), and my Server view no longer exists. Why did they disappear? How do I get them back?

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Can you do the following –
1. Can you perform a -clean. Please refer – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshoot-using-the-clean-command-line-argument/
2. If the above does not help, please perform a re-install using pulse. Here are the steps –
a. Open Pulse (Start > Programs > Pulse > Pulse Explorer or download from http://www.poweredbypulse.com)
b. Login to pulse
c. Select “Eclipse – galileo” or relevant realm from top left hand corner dropdown
d. Select your MyEclipse profile from “My Profiles”
e. Right click on the same and click on [Re-install and run]
f. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps.

We are having similar problem except instead of installing SVN we are installing TFS. But the same exact problem. I’ve tried the following:
1. Install 8.6.0
2. Verify Servers available
3. Update to 8.6.1
4. Install TFS
5. Servers not available anymore 🙁

TRY 2:
1. Install 8.6.1
2. Verify Servers available
3. Install TFS
4. Servers not available anymore 🙁

TRY 3:
1. Add -clean option
2. Servers still not available 🙁

Is there anything we can do to the configuration.ini file or someother configuration file that will enable the servers? This is getting to be a huge pain in the @#@% to try to figure out something as simple as an installation. Any help and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue.
Thank you for the detailed steps and installation details. Can you clarify what is TFS? Also how did you add TFS? Do you have an update site? Can you please share the same. This would help me replicate your issue at my end.

TFS is (Microsoft Team Foundation Server) source code repository. You can download the eclipse plug-in at:

I have tried installing various versions of myEclipse (8.6 and 8.6.1) and I even tried the -clean option. Is there something I can manually add to say something like the config.ini file to add these features back? I am not sure why they are gone and the new employees computer I am trying to setup currently cant have both myEclipse and TFS. Any suggestion and/or hack that I can manually do would be greatly appreciated to get this computer up and running.

I could not replicate it at my end.I could add the TFS plugin to ME 8.6.1 without any issue. All my servers are intact after the IDE restart.

1) I assume you have added the TFS plugin using the ‘Add from Archive Site’ pointing to the downloaded location of TFSEclipsePlugin-UpdateSiteArchive-10.0.0.zip. Right?

2) Go to Help >About MyEclipse Enterprise Work Bench > Installation Details > Plug-ins and check if TFS is listed there.

3) Go to the MyEclipse Configuration Center > Software tab and check if there are updates available in the ‘Software Updates Available’ space.

4) Do you see any errors of interest logged in the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata folder? If yes then paste them here for me.

5) Can you list out the servers added in your servers view?

6) Can you perform a reinstall?

Here are the steps –
