    Hello.

I have searched most of the threads here but I was unable to find a solution to my problem, which is that I can not start or stop the Oracle AS 10g 10.1.2.0.1 (Standard Edition one) using MyEclipse.

I have a clean install of Eclipse 3.1.1 with MyEclipse 4.0.3. I also have installed the Oracle Application Server 10g (from the CDs). JDK is 1.4.2-b28

I have added the Oracle server under Preferences in My Eclipse, using the JDK.
I do not want to deploy anything for now, just to start the server.

Whenever I try to start the Server from Run/Stop MyEclipse Application Servers the only thing I get is this:

    05/12/14 19:06:21 Error creating the ORB :
    05/12/14 19:06:21 Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE 10g (10.1.2.0.0) initialized

    and nothing else.
I have tried the principals.xml thing I read in another topic but it didn’t help.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

Ok it seems you may need to upgrade to 10.3 Developer Preview 4, our connector was modified to not only work with that release but to provide the upcomming JSR 45 (debugging) support. We appologize for the inconvenience.
