    Hi,

i downloaded the offline-installer for MyEclipse Blue Edition 9.0 for Windows. When i start the installer, Avira Antivir finds a Virus in the one-install.exe called “TR/Spy.206640.1”.

    Can you check this pls?

    Greetings

    eisZipp,

The installation technology in our new installers is occasionally incorrectly flagged by a few virus scanners as a virus. I assure you that there is no virus in the installer and we have been in touch with Avira about the issue; they have cleared the program as a false positive – perhaps the files will be white-listed in a future update.

If you want to be sure that you have a file that came from us, you could compare the MD5 strings of the file you downloaded against the string on our site. If it matches, there is definitely no virus in the installer.

Please let us know if you have further concerns.

I downloaded the installer file from your site and checked the MD5 strings. Everything ok.

I also manually whitelisted the files in Avira (for installation i just turned it off). I just wanted you to know that there is the flagging.

    Greetings

Glad you are up and going. I appreciate you telling us as we know that this issue is still open.
