Tried to update through 8.5 MyEclipse Configuration Center. It identified pulse 3.0.3 update and when I update it comes with the following error.

    Software being installed: MyEclipse 8.5 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000008 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-609113-rmb-467657 2.0.0.0000000008)
Missing requirement: MyEclipse 8.5 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000008 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-609113-rmb-467657 2.0.0.0000000008) requires 'com.genuitec.myeclipse.spring.mylyn.feature.group [7.9.100,8.9.100)' but it could not be found

I tried other plugins ( AWS, ZK Studio … etc) all failed with the above error. Looks like I could not install any plugins including the bundled ones ( Ex: MyEclipse for Spring)

    Help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    BeavEx,

Can you answer few queries for me to get to the root cause?
    1. Can you copy and paste your installation details? Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
    2. How did you install ME? Meaning all-in-one installer / pulse / archived update site on top of eclipse classic?
    3. Have you added any plugins? Can you list them here?
    4. What type of MyEclipse license are you holding – standard / professional / blue / myeclipse – for – spring?

    BeavEx,

Thank you for the details. Do not add “MyEclipse for Spring” to your MyEclipse profile since you are on professional license. Open Help > MyEclipse Configuration Center. Select *Dashboard* tab. Uncheck “MyEclipse for Spring”. This will list managed changes under “Pending Changes” section. Click on [Apply 1 change] and follow the wizard to completion. Let me know if you are still facing any issue.

    Thanks for the response.

I never able to install “MyEclipse for Spring” plugin. I reverted it back and do not have that checked or part of the changes to apply.
Only addon I have was “Subclipse 1.6” which I tried to remove got into the same problem.

Looks like I can’t add or remove plugins …

    Thanks

    UPDATE: Fixed
SOLUTION: I uninstalled and reinstalled the package. Now it is working and I able to add new plug-ins.

Not sure what cause the earlier issues.

    Thanks
