I use BIRT 3.3 with Eclipse 3.3, and it’s all OK before installing myecipse 6.0 GA.Whileas after installing myeclipse 6.0 GA, in Report Design perspective, the Palette view is missed.
It won’t appear even if you choose Reset Perspective. and you can’t find it from the views list by clicking Show View.
Now the temporary measure I took is, first remove the file com.genuitec.eclipse.MyEclipse.link from directory links under eclipse installation directory, and start eclipse without myeclipse, to let Palette appear, then close eclipse and move the file com.genuitec.eclipse.MyEclipse.link back to the old path, to restart eclipse with Myeclipse, and Palette will show. but if you reset perspective, Palette will disappear again, and you can’t find Palette in the view list while starting eclipse with MyEclipse.
I hope you could fix this problem.
