Hello,
I verified the correct installation of MyEclipse. It appears at <Software Updates> – <Manage Configuration> as well as <Help> – <About Eclipse> – <Plugins>.
But my problem is, that cannot chose the ‘MyEclipse’-Perspective (neither chosing ‘Other’), nor does a MyEclipse-item appear in <Window> – <Preferences> nor is it visible in the tool bar above.
Why could this be?
I have to admit that I have Exadel plugin installed. Do these two interfer in some way?

They might, but you should still see MyEclipse. Do me a favor and go to your MyEclipse menu, then the About MyEclipse menu, then click “Configuration Summary” or “Installation Summary” and paste the result here for me to see. If you don’t have a MyEclipse menu, let me know which version of Eclipse and MyEclipse you had installed. Chances are the installation may be corrupt (or just incompatible)
