fishjavaMembermyeclipse 4.0.2,eclipse 3.1.1
Haris PecoMemberfishjava,
It is better that you use version MyEclipse 4.1.1
However, send us connection info : your jdbc jar, url, driver class and error log (Windows – Preferences – Show View – Other – PDE Runtime-Error Log view)Best
fishjavaMemberthanks :::

fishjavaMemberi use “Oracle thin Driver” ,it cannot connect.
then i create new driver for Oracle,class12.jar,it is also wrong.
fishjavaMember” alt=””>
fishjavaMember
fishjavaMemberjdbc:oracle:thin:@192.168.1.231:1521:wind
i use it in jsp or hibernage.properties ,it works.
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver ——— ???? i create driver myself,but it cannont work
Haris PecoMemberCan you try with ojdbc14.jar – it is new driver for java >= 1.4.You can use last thin jdbc drivers with oracle9
From your error, MyEclipse can’t find driver class – it mean that you don’t set driver correct – you can do it with
Windows-Preferences-MyEclipse-Database Explorer-Drivers or with ‘Configure database driver’ link when you define connection profile – choose OracleThin driver – Edit and add jdbc jar with ‘Add jars’ – You can make new driver definition, but it isn’t necessary for oracle thinBest
fishjavaMemberit works!!
thanks! thanks!
i can work on,my god!
haha
Haris PecoMemberFishjava,
You welcome.I’m glad.
Best
