    Hi,

after a reboot my MyEclipse doesnt start anymore. After double-clicking the MyEclipse-icon the startup image shows up. Half an hour later nothing changed.
MyEclipse is constantly allocating at least 200MB memory and uses 50% of my CPU.

I already tried reinstalling My Profile – without success.

I would be glad to be given any hint where the problem might be.

    Kind regards,

    Jurij Lender

    Jurij Lender,

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Can you answer few queries for me to get to the root cause?
    1. Can you copy and paste your installation details? Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
    2. In case you cant get the above, can you copy and paste myeclipse.ini file located in your MyEclipse Installation directory?
    3. What is your OS and version?
    4. What is the ME version you are on?
    5. How did you install MyEclipse ? Meaning all-in-one installer / pulse / archived update site on top of eclipse classic?
    6. Are you behind any firewall / proxy?
I would recommend you a quick fix, please follow below mentioned steps –
    1. Open pulse. If you don’t have pulse, download from http://www.poweredbypulse.com
    2. Login to pulse. You can also login anonymously
    3. Select relevant eclipse-realm from top left hand corner dropdown
    4. From “My Profiles”, select your ME profile.
    5. Right click on your MyEclipse profile and from the context menu click on [Re-install and run]
    6. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps.
Let me know how this works for you.
