hi!
i have jdk 1.4.2 and eclipse 3.2.2 installed. i then upgrated the eclipse 3.2.2 to MyEclipse 5.5 M2. the instalation was all ok. even the instalation log file says the installation is successfull.
Then when i start MyEclipse 5.5 the work bench opens up and it first asks me for the subsciption key information in a pop up window and immediatly an other popup window with title “incomplete MyEclipse installation” opens up with the message “the workbench should be restarted to fully complete the MyEclipse installation process. MyEclipse will restart now.” but when i click OK in the pop up window nothing happens at all and even if i leave it for hours it does not restart and whole application is inactive.
The application does not even allow me to click on the subscription key info window. To end the application i will have to go to the task manager and endtask. can anyone plz help me how to fix the problem may be by telling me how to manually restart MyEclipse or if there is anyother solution.thanks in advance.

What OS are you working on? I would suggest you go to http://www.poweredbypulse.com and grab the pulse launcher. After launching pulse, add the MyEclipse profile to it. You should be all set to roll.
